DVS PTA Updates

Thank you for continuing to support the DVS PTA. We will try to be sure to keep you updated over the summer with any new information or dates that are set for the upcoming school year!

1st PTA Meeting

As of right now the first Pta meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010. We are in need of a kidsitter to watch kids in another room for our meeting nights. If you know of anyone who would be interested, please contact Kristen Chinosi.

DVS Volunteer Program

There is always plenty of opportunity to volunteer at DVS! If you are interested in volunteering on a weekly basis for one of the following: Classroom Volunteer, Library Aide, Lunch Server, Ice Cream Server, Duplicator(copier), popcorn Friday or any other weekly volunteer position, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator Tammie Lampes.

Holiday Craft Fair

Our Holiday Craft Fair will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2010 from 9am-3pm. If you are interested in having a craft space an application form will be available to download from this page shortly. If you are interested in being on the Holiday Fair Committee, please contact Kim Cyr. We are in need of people to help with many areas including: coordinate the kids game/craft room, Raffles, Friday Night Set-up, Bake Sale and the Volunteer Schedule for the event.

HELP NEEDED!

We are in need of volunteers to help out with a few things that are coming up!

• 1st Day Folders - Volunteers are needed to stuff folders from home. These are the folders that go home the first day of school with all the important papers that need to be viewed and filled out by parents. A box with all the paperwork and folders will be availabe to pick-up the week before school starts and will need to be returned to school by the morning of the first day. If you are interested please contact Tammie Lampes.
  
• Kidsitter - We are in need of a "kidsitter" for our PTA meeting nights: the second Wednesday of every month starting at 6:30pm til the meeting is over (usually between 7:30 and 8pm). If you are interested, please contact Kristen Chinosi.
